Former Florida forward Egor Koulechov has accepted a NBA summer league invite with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The 6-foot-5 Koulechov was second on the Gators in scoring (13.8 ppg) and led UF in rebounding (6.4 rpg) this past season as a grad transfer from Rice. Koulechov shot 41.3 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from 3-point range.
With a strong showing for Minnesota’s summer league team, Koulechov could land a two-way contact with the Timberwolves and their G-League affiliate, similar to the contact former Florida forward Devin Robinson signed this past season.
