Times have been set for this weekend’s best-of-three Super Regional series between Florida and Auburn at McKethan Stadium.
The No. 1 national seeed Gators (45-18) will host the Tigers on Saturday and Sunday at noon on ESPN. The deciding third game, if necessary, will take place Monday night at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.
The game Saturday could feature a matchup of two of the top pitchers in college baseball, with Auburn righty Casey Mize facing Florida righty Brady Singer. Mize was taken first overall in Monday’s MLB June Amateur draft, while Singer went 18th overall to the Kansas City Royals.
Florida won two of three from Auburn when the two teams met during the regular season in late April at McKethan. Singer outdueled Mize in the first matchup of the series as the Gators beat Auburn 3-1.
